The ASAR was formed during late 2012 in association and leadership of leading scientist and technical professional with a vision to bring out technical advancement in field of Science, Engineering and Technology. At that time ASAR being a unit of "Vigyan Vidya Education and Research Trust (VVERT)" had conducted number of technical conferences and events as well as had published peer reviewed research paper from south-east Asia but by early 2014 the board of directors and managing committee decided to form a autonomous registered professional association with its early name retained.
